Today in Disney History: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Opened at Disneyland Park in 1979

The Walt Disney World Railroad is back with a new narration! It opened last Thursday exclusively for cast members and for everyone yesterday. It’s operating hours are from 9AM to 6PM (check the My Disney Experience App as times may vary). Go on a grand circle tour of the Magic Kingdom. You may even catch a glimpse of Tron as the park is testing it. Also, see Splash Mountain from the train before it officially closes on January 23, 2023.
