That's just a standard Xbox One. Only the Controller is unique. That steelbook was from a separate purchase. A Day One limited edition 12 month xbox live gold subscription. Came with XBLG and a code for Shadow Jago in Killer Instinct (the only way to acquire him back then, when he had the same moveset at Jago).

Jul 7, 2014 · I weirdly enough got an unused Day One achievement with the Day One console I bought about 3 weeks ago from Ebay (sorry to anyone who feels somewhat cheated by their purchase of Day One just for this itself). It redeemed perfectly, and I still have the code lying around just for show. I can't see the achievement in the app though.

Feb 3, 2014 · The only difference between a day one edition and a regular one is a day one achievement and the controller says day one 2013. As for the prices they should be the same. With that big a difference in prices I would just go with the regular one unless you really want those two differences.

Dec 24, 2017 · I bought the Day One edition on release day and was going to sell it after purchasing the One X. Is the day one edition worth more vs. the standard xbox one? I bought 2 extra controllers on release day and my day one controller has never been used. I know gamestop would probably give me $5 for everything, store credit of course.

Remember when the Xbox One was announced and you got an exclusive achievement for pre-ordering the console at the Microsoft Store back in 2013? Or the actual point of getting the "Day One" Xbox One console (other than the controller)

Aug 21, 2014 · These Day One edition consoles will have been manufactured a lot later than the ones released on November 22nd last year. And they had problems because they were first run. The Japanese Day One edition is just as reliable as every other Xbox One made today - and if you are unlucky, you still have your warranty. Definitely go for day one.

Oct 10, 2018 · Considering Microsoft themselves sell day one bundles still, (with controller, Kinect, day one achievement) for 345? Not much. Hell, last I checked, Kinect was $100 new and people were paying $90 for the day one achievement. So that's 155 between the controller and system and the system is worth the majority of that.
