Unable to access Microsoft 365 account without authenticator
Dec 17, 2024 · I am unable to login to my Microsoft 365 admin center and email. While login it prompts for code from authenticator app but my account got removed from app thereby unable to receive notification from authenticator. I tried to add account in authenticator app but facing same issue as above.

Aug 1, 2023 · Once they enter their email credentials and text message MFA, then select "Stay signed in", Office365 then notifies them to use Microsoft Authenticator. It forces them to download it and set it up. It does not give them the option to skip it. Our organization has MFA enabled and authenticator is one of the options but it was never forced to use.
