May 7, 2021 · Cameo 4 can do almost everything the Cricut Maker can. It has more force potential so the difference is in the adapters. The Cameo has a knife blade, rotary blade, pen adapter, etc. similar to the Maker. I think the one feature that is lacking in the Cameo as opposed to the Maker is debossing/embossing.

Mar 27, 2021 · Originally I purchased it for the intent to replace the Cameo 4's Bluetooth adapter. But still ended up in the same result.....Bluetooth light is on. I was scan in the software and would take 1 - 2 hours to connect. I would check what windows would see when I did a scan Cameo 4 it would come up straight away.

Jan 26, 2022 · Simple, just power down your machine, unplug all cables, wait 30 seconds so the remaining power fades away, connect all cables again, turn the machine back on after a bit, open your software and let the computer go to deep sleep again while leaving the cutter plugged and ON, after it reaches deep sleep, wake it up and test the panel.

Jan 18, 2022 · There is a lot of waste of vinyl with the Maker 3 smart rolls. The vinyl is wider than what the machine can cut. The Maker 3 is faster but ONLY if you use the smart vinyl. For regular vinyl using a mat, the speed is the same. I looked at the Cameo seriously almost a year ago and went with the original Maker instead.

Rolled back to version I like that has worked for me for month (4.4.495) Thought maybe it had something to do with my power cord from my Cameo 4 being plugged into a power brick, so plugged it directly into wall. Thought maybe my Cameo was just worn out, bought used (but basically brand new) Cameo 4 on FB marketplace. Same problem.

I have used this design for quite a while, very successfully on my Cameo 3 and at first on the 4. But then it started cutting wider and longer I realized I had a problem! Silhouette seems to be totally unreachable.

Mar 18, 2021 · That's great to hear! Make sure you get the Cameo 4 Autoblade. The Cameo 3 ones are not labeled as such, and do not work! The Cameo 4 blades say it at the bottom of the package. Alternatively, you can grab a ratchet blade or basic blade, both of which work with the adapters your machine came with. This would at least let you test. I appreciate ...
