The difference in user agents between the Edge and Chrome seems to be an additional Edge string and maybe this thing causes your problem. Maybe you can try to press F12 and change the User Agent in the development tool. Click Network conditions

Everything works just fine in my Windows Media Center except I've never had any sound for the MSNBC videos. My Realtek Audio on this Dell machine (with Vista Home Premium) works perfectly everywhere else, just not at MSNBC / Windows Media Center.
