Dec 1, 2024 · I received a recall notice for my 2022 KIA Niro PHEV. SC276 has these related DTC(s): U1010, U1011, P17EE, P17ED, P17E8, P17E2, P1744. My vehicle has had P17ED and P1744. P1744 has not returned but P17ED has and will not clear. The dealer has charged my insurance company several thousand dollars for repairs that did nothing.

Oct 3, 2023 · Bought my '22 Niro new in November 2021. Just took it in to my Kia dealer for scheduled BSC coolant flush, which was supposed to be $249, including parts and labor. Then the service rep tells me that there's a recall on this (apparently metal filings are getting into the coolant), and the service is free.
