Jan 26, 2023 · Freezing rain is the worst. In Christmas Eve at home in NW Montana (right after the epic snow and cold spell), it started raining when it was 16 degrees. Ridiculous. Took over 24hrs to finally warm above freezing. Luckily, it was generally a light rain but enough to make a mess of everything.

Feb 17, 2015 · When the water hits the surface it freezes just like when it hits an aircraft wing (assuming the surface is cold enough). Freezing rain like this is relatively rare, though, because as the droplets fall they are likely to collide and freeze or run into an ice nucleus as it falls.

Winter weather is tolerable for the most part. -10, wind, and snow aren't that bad. But freezing rain is just terrible. It feels like shards of glass are falling. It's the worst weather possibly conceived lol. If only it could be 2 degrees warmer or colder so it didn't feel like nature was trolling me.

(Because of the set bonuses that they give.) But there's nothing wrong with your current pet, the only thing up for debate is your pet's stats, but even then it REALLY doesn't matter that much.

Feb 13, 2021 · Along with what others have said. You can have above freezing temps for rain like 35 or 36 F and get a bunch of rain. Then while the ground and streets are still very wet from the recent rain you have a sudden plunge in temp within a few hours. Like from 35 to 20. Resulting in all that water covering everything suddenly freezing.
