Jul 3, 2006 · The theory is the bacon grease odor attracks the coyote who then eats/swallows the sponge. The sponge is small enough to be swallowed whole which passes thru the large intestine but will not pass into the small intestine.

Before sunset I went to a cut field and called up a small bobcat and a small coyote over about 45 minutes of patience and misc rabbit distress and coyote pup yips.

Dec 10, 2012 · Depending on what you are expecting, I paid $100 for one(I gave him the whole coyote) and it was NOT what I expected when I got it back. After learning how to tan myself, I learned the guy that did mine did not "break" the skin after the tanning process, so its stiff and not supple like I wanted it to be. It also smelled somethin terrible.

On my property, I may not see a track for months, then it's like coyote central (which it is now). My theory is right now coyotes are grouping up and going through a "coyote rut", so if you got them, you really got them.
