While Level 4 units, departments, offices, etc. no longer have an official VCU brand mark, they are eligible for “amplified staging” to identify themselves. Guidelines: Typeface: Univers LT Std 65 Bold. Tracking/kerning: -10; Recommended size: approx. half the height of the VCU logo when used near VCU logo or Level 3 unit mark.

Masterbrand logo - VCU Brand
The VCU Health logo is the primary graphic element used to identify our organization. It consists of the official VCU seal and the VCU Health typography. The VCU seal and “VCU” typography together demonstrate our relationship to Virginia Commonwealth University and our strength as an academically oriented organization.
Logo color in use - VCU Brand
Our logos should only be used on white, black, or the VCU Health gold backgrounds, with no exceptions. The full-color, positive VCU Health logo on white should be used whenever possible. The color treatments shown are the only available options for all file types.
Trademarks and Licensing - VCU Trademarks & Licensing
The VCU Office of Trademarks & Licensing ensures proper usage of VCU’s name and symbols by monitoring the quality and consistency of all merchandise bearing VCU marks. All merchandise bearing one or more VCU marks must be produced by a licensed vendor.
Other branding configurations - VCU Brand
It is required that VCU be identified along with the spirit mark. The VCU brand mark can be used as long as the two logos are separated. The spirit mark must always have the registered trademark symbol.
