Jun 1, 2011 · I found an awesome planet generator, simply put in all of the properties and then click create and there you have it lots of information on the planet created as well as a seamless planet texture image at the top of the page! The greyscale setting could be particularly useful to create coloured planets or for editing in a paint program. Enjoy.

Aug 16, 2014 · It'll come out by the end of 2014, and there is a random planet generator included (for both Gas Giants and Terrestrial Planets. The "textures" it produces are pretty badass, so don't you worry). I myself am an Alpha tester so I will be sure to make quite a few videos and pictures of US2 while the public waits.

We currently have Accrete (the parent of StarGen) implemented and working, but as someone else already stated the results are neither systematically stable nor very realistic. So, yes there will be random systems - we just can't say how realistic they will be eventually ...
