North Ridge Elementary is recognized for the second time as a California Distinguished Schools. In 2020, State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond honored 323 elementary schools under the California Distinguished Schools Award Program.

North Ridge Elementary School focuses on building character, promoting good citizenship, and encouraging students to be kind, respectful, and responsible members of society.

NOTE: On Flex Days, TK and Kindergarten students are released at 11:40. However, a student who is eating lunch on campus will remain on campus to eat lunch until 12:00pm.

MVUSD consists of 23 elementary schools, 6 middle schools, 4 comprehensive high schools, and 7 alternative schools. The District provides a state preschool program, an online academy and an adult education program.

The Think Together program operates at all MVUSD elementary schools and all MVUSD middle schools. Each student’s physical and emotional safety is the number one priority of all program operations.
