(If they do, Marchesa brings them back, and if they don't Mikaeus brings them back.)-yep

Some opponent's source (only one source) instant spell for example places 2 -1/-1 counters on my RAT.

Aug 5, 2018 · Interesting Vampire tribal build - Commander was originally Garza Zol, Plague Queen as the only Grixis Vampire legend, but later changed to Marchesa, the Black Rose, as she is excellent with the +1/+1 counter theme especially prevalent with Vampires. The deck is basically complete at this point, but I'm still open to suggestions.

It seems straight forward if they are both on your side, so that's not a question, but lets say that I have the Marchesa, the Black Rose and my (singular) opponent has the Grave Betrayal.
