A flexible community green space connecting the Poetry Parking Lot to downtown Lanesboro. Scenic Gateway Park is located next to the Root River, and connects the Poetry Parking Lot to downtown Lanesboro via pedestrian trails and the 1893 Coffee Street Bridge.

Lanesboro Arts is thrilled to announce the 2023 line-up of popular outdoor summer music series Rhythms on the Root. The series activates the vibrant asset of Gateway Park as a place for the Lanesboro community and visitors to gather and celebrate with live music.

Jul 6, 2024 · Catherine Glynn’s A.R.T. (Audacious Raw Theater) and Lanesboro Arts proudly present Audacious Raw Theater Year 8: There is a Field on Saturday, July 6th. Starting at 7 pm at Gateway Park, seven or more newly devised dramatic works will be revealed in A.R.T.’s typically raw and wonderful fashion.

These community produced glass mosaics represent the many aspects of Lanesboro. The restored bridge originally a railway bridge, is the safest way for pedestrians to get over the river. Continue over the bridge, through Gateway Park to the Poetry Parking Lot at the Bass Pond.

Lanesboro Arts kicks off the new outdoor music series Rhythms on the Root with award winning “newgrass” band Barbaro on Friday, June 11th at 6:00 pm in Gateway Park. Tickets are $10 each; youth 12 and under are free but ticket is still required.
