A halo vest (Anjon Bremer) is a device used to immobilise the head and neck in the correct position while healing. A ring is attached to the skull with pins and put on while your child is under general anaesthetic. The ring is attached to bars and a vest which secure the system in place and restrict the head and neck from moving.
