Jul 7, 2024 · FV4005 was a possible stopgap tank9 before the final vehicle was finished, similar to how the Caernarvon No it was not. It was purely a test bed for the “discount” engineeringly simplified version of the 183mm gun after the semi-auto loaded version was dropped.
