If the androids in Kara's camp get killed then we can assume that the four other camps in Detroit share the same result, and the other big cities in the country didn't need to do as much work rounding up the androids and sending them to the camps as Detroit did, as Detroit was the only place in the US with an active android rebellion going on.

Oct 20, 2022 · Downtown Detroit is fine, not too much unlike any major city. Detroit earned it's bad reputation in the 90s when the downtown was actually pretty bad. Nowadays, the city is improving. The downtown isn't as big as other comparable cities but if you are staying downtown, corktown, or midtown it's actually quite safe

Honestly, considering how good the motel route is when you want to built a good relationship with Alice really fast, it's understandable that the devs didn't want to make it easy to access.
