Each August the show attracts thousands of visitors from across Ireland and the UK from farmers to young families. It showcases local produce, arts & crafts, fashion, kids entertainment, horse jumping and dancing competitions.
Ballyliffin History
The district around the village of Ballyliffin is one of the richest in archaeological sites in the county with Mass rocks, standing stones, promontory forts, holy wells, pilgrimage sites, souterrains, rock art, cairns, marked slabs and megalithic remains.
