Timothy Floyd Burchett (/ ˈbɜːrtʃɪt / BUR-chit; [3] born August 25, 1964) is an American politician who is the U.S. representative for Tennessee's 2nd congressional district, based in Knoxville, serving since 2019. A Republican, Burchett was formerly mayor of Knox County, Tennessee.
