Dec 16, 2022 · Gundam is better off w/o aliens. There’s a couple choice moments (Celestial Being the Movie, Mileina’s confession), but it’s just not an interesting story for me. The action itself didn’t leave much of an impression and the aliens didn’t have any kind of charisma for being largely personality-less.

Jul 4, 2020 · It's the kind of conflict most Gundam series' run on in the long run; a super advanced high perfomance mobile suit is a weapon. It can't bring about peace on its own. Only the pilot can bring about true change (not the suit or the power that built it) and Trailblazer is right in that alley :P

Apr 18, 2023 · Trailblazer puts much more effort than Worm into having non-parahumans being important and getting to have a say in things, which fairly-understandably results in a lot of people who're kinda upset about parahumans destroying society. The whole Gundam theme of "we need to find a way to understand each other" and all.

So I wasn't really surprised that the ELS showed up in Trailblazer. I mean that WAS the entire point of where the story's going from the end of Season 2 right?
