Mar 26, 2014 · Recently - our dyson 25 multifloor exclusive has started loosing it's post filter whilst its on. It seems to get worse after running it for a while, and on hard-floors. Having searched this forum - it looks like the problem is either with the post filter - or the motor housing.

I had my DC25 repaired recently, because the brush did not work anymore. I tried several time to reset the brush bar motor, no way. Furthermore, the way the fault happened, spark close to the motor and trip of the magneto-thermal protection of my home, made me think to a short circuit, so I shipped the whole vacuum cleaner for repair.

New member just joined bought a second hand DC25 but need to know how to replace the Motor does anyone have any diagrams/ pictures on a how to replace guide? have done motor repairs before on an DC07 so can follow diagrams/ photos ok.
