Buying a Porsche is absolute not a logical, sensible financial decision. It’s something you want. How badly you want it will determine how sensible or otherwise you are with how and when you acquire it. Personally I’d much rather have the Porsche and enjoy it than wait until I’m 50. I might be dead tomorrow.

Ya ya Porsche’s hold value, ya ya for some wild reason all cars are presently appreciating in value, in normal times all cars are money pits to 99% of average users, myself included. I know nothing about reselling cars, maintaining cars, and I don’t have the time to figure it all out.

Dec 18, 2021 · I’ve known some people that got their car for MSRP, others that had to pay a dealer markup, while others didn’t have to pay a markup but had to buy a Porsche Design watch or some other stuff to get an allocation (I know you aren’t getting an allocation, but just another example of shenanigans right now).

May 26, 2023 · Porsche service and dealers were all top-notch so all this terrible service treatment is really eye-opening an not expected. I am looking to buy a Taycan but keeping going back and forth based on post about repair issues and how long they are taking to get fixed as well as just fears about overall reliability.

Jan 5, 2022 · 9PA owner since 2008. A Turbo. Coolant pipes were recalled. Mine burst at 63k. Covered by Porsche. Also had my T-Pipe let go. This is the coolant/heater exchange. Not covered by Porsche. Had a air suspension fault under warranty. Shares parts with VW. At 97k now. You seem like the perfect candidate for Cayenne ownership.

It’s beautiful, historical, dependable and importantly always available. It sits at the intersection between fun and serious that Porsche itself sits at. Can it be said that any color is out-and-out better than Guards?

That said, I think the Porsche driving dynamics are the Taycan's biggest strength and weakness. Most anyone who wants a sporty car isn't buying an EV, most anyone who wants Porsche driving dynamics is buying a 718, 911 or Panamera, and most anyone buying an EV is someone who doesn't value handling in their vehicles.

All I did was go to the service to inquire about battery service, and the person said my cayenne might have a module update campaign, looked up the VIN and yes. Booked an appointment and all they did was update the module and test the battery which was still good
