Sebastian Coe (#254) was the silver medallist in men's 800m at the 1980 Olympics in Moscow. Coe first caught the public's attention on 14 March 1977 when he competed in the 800m at the European Indoor Championships in San Sebastián, front-running the entire race and winning in 1:46.54, just short of the world indoor record.

Sebastian Coe (29 September 1956 – ) is a British Olympic track athlete, politician and President of the IAAF. Coe won Olympic gold at the blue-riband 1500 metres event in 1980 and 1984.
