The Los Angeles Lakers have reportedly signed Villanova forward Eric Dixon, the leading scorer in college basketball, to a two-way contract.

Villanova Basketball’s Eric Dixon might not have heard his name called during the 2025 NBA Draft, but it didn’t take long for him to land a deal and an opportunity to make the jump. Shortly after the 2025 NBA Draft ended on Thursday night, Dixon landed a deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.

Dixon averaged a nation-best 23.3 points to go with 5.1 rebounds while shooting 40.7% from 3-point range last season for Villanova, where he set the program’s career scoring record.
