HOUSTON — The Texas Education Agency has released the Spring 2025 STAAR End-of-Course (EOC) assessment results, offering an updated look at how high school students across Texas are performing in five core subjects: Algebra I, Biology, English I, English II, and U.S. History.

While statewide scores remained largely flat, Houston ISD high school students saw improvement in each STAAR subject, including large gains in Algebra 1 and biology, two years into state intervention.
