ADA, Okla. — The Chickasaw Nation announced Dr. Kayse Shrum, former OSU President, will join the Chickasaw Nation as Chief Health Strategy Officer next month.

Former Oklahoma State University President Dr. Kayse Shrum has joined the Chickasaw Nation as chief health strategy officer.

The Nation made the announcement Monday. Prior to Shrum’s time as OSU top administrator, she served as dean of the OSU College of Medicine and president of OSU Center for Health Sciences.

Shrum resigned in February after more than three years as OSU president, amidst questions regarding the university’s handling of funds from the Innovation Foundation.
