As Soliman supporters gathered to protest what they consider his unjust detention, "another level of injustice occurred in front of people's eyes," said Rev. Nelson Pierce Jr., senior pastor of Beloved Community Church in Mount Airy.

The demonstration started as a vigil for a man detained by ICE after suddenly having his asylum status revoked.
