Nuketown comes to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 on Nov. 1, 2024, just a few days after launch. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is slated to launch across Xbox, PlayStation, and PC on October 25, as well as being available in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Fan-favorite map Nuketown first appeared in the original Call of Duty: Black Ops.

In a surprising announcement, Activision reveals that one of the most popular maps in the history of Call of Duty will be released in Black Ops 6.

Black Ops 6 launches on October 25 with 16 brand-new multiplayer maps, but the latest episode of Call of Duty's podcast has revealed that Treyarch's iconic Nuketown map will return post-launch.

Treyarch confirmed the addition of Nuketown in Black Ops 6 with a post on X. “Bring your sunscreen,” the post is captioned. It also features an image shot from the perspective inside of a house on Nuketown, with a mannequin visible in frame. An explosion can be seen in the distance, potentially teasing the eponymous nuke.

Treyarch has confirmed that fan favorite map Nuketown will be available in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 starting November 1.

However, during the most recent episode of the Call of Duty Podcast, it was revealed that the Nuketown we all know and love will be added as a post-launch map. It was also explained that Warhead is located close to Nuketown, explaining the similar houses and setting between the two.

Treyarch today revealed some new details about what to expect from Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, including campaign rewards.
