A homeless woman has been charged with vehicular homicide after a KIA minivan crashed into Shannondale Assisted Living Facility, striking and killing a man, the Knoxville Police Department said.

KPD confirmed "several" people were shot in the area of North Jay Street and East Madison Street, which is just south of Studebaker Park.
