Catcher Carter Jensen has been promoted to Triple-A Omaha. He is the No. 3-ranked prospect in the Kansas City minor league system.

Jac Caglianone has gone deep twice for his first two home runs in the big leagues. The top prospect of the Kansas City Royals hit both homers in lefty-lefty matchups in a 4-1 victory over the Texas Rangers.

Caglianone registered his first homer against left-handed reliever Jacob Latz. Later, he added his second home run against fellow lefty Robert Garcia. In the process, Caglianone became the fourth Royal and the first since Mark Quinn in 1999 to hit first two career homers in the same game.
