D: Gregg Wallace’s co-host John Torode has been fired from BBC’s “MasterChef” following an investigation that substantiated an allegation he used racist language in the workplace, marking the second major dismissal to emerge from the comprehensive probe into the show’s culture.

John Torode has been sacked as MasterChef presenter after an allegation against him using "an extremely offensive racist term" was upheld. On Monday, the TV chef said he had "no recollection" of the incident, adding: "I do not believe that it happened."

After an inquiry into Wallace's behavior revealed claims against two separate people, Torode said on Monday: "I am the individual who is alleged to have used racial language on one occasion."
