Incoming Duke basketball player Cameron Boozer and BYU cross country and track and field commit Jane Hedengren were recognized as the best high school athletes of the year Wednesday.

For the second year in a row, a Duke men’s basketball commit has won the national Gatorade Male Player of the Year award.

Cameron Boozer and Jane Hedengren were named the 2024-25 Gatorade Best Male and Female Players of the Year at the ESPYS, honoring their elite athletic and academic achievements.

It seems Cameron Boozer cannot stop winning awards even after finishing his high school career at the Columbus Explorers.
