A flood advisory was released by the NWS Fort Worth TX on Sunday at 10:57 a.m. in effect until 2 p.m. The advisory is for Parker, Wise and Jack counties.

The situation turned dire overnight as a half-foot or more of rainfall led to fast-moving floodwaters in parts of San Antonio and neighboring communities.

Southeast Texas has been hit hard with severe rain as heavy storms continue to sweep through the area, with some areas reporting up to 10 inches of rainfall. Flash flood warnings are in effect across the region as emergency crews brace for additional severe weather.
