Ukrainian officials say three people were killed and 13 were wounded when Russia attacked the country with waves of drones and missiles.
Russia launched 315 drones at Ukraine overnight into Tuesday, in what Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said was “one of the largest” attacks on the capital Kyiv, with local officials in the southern port city of Odesa also reporting a maternity ward there had been hit.
Kyiv and Odesa were among the cities struck overnight into Tuesday morning amid another night of intense airstrikes.
Russian forces have launched a large-scale drone assault across Ukraine, where officials said three people were killed and 64 others wounded.
