Buffalo added some interesting prospects in the draft, but there are still so many directions this offseason can go.

Connor Clifton was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins by the Buffalo Sabres for Conor Timmins on Saturday. The Penguins also received a second-round pick (No. 39) in the 2025 NHL Draft. Defenseman prospect Isaac Belliveau was sent to the Sabres.

Kyle Dubas has a long history with Conor Timmins and it took a new twist when the Penguins opted to trade the defender to Buffalo. Pittsburgh added ECHL/AHL level defender Isaac Belliveau and acquired the 39th overall pick and defenseman Connor Clifton from the Sabres.
