New York Mets ace Kodai Senga left Thursday’s start against the Washington Nationals with a right hamstring strain

Kodai Senga was placed on the 15-day injured list with a right hamstring strain Friday, a day after covering first base on a grounder to Pete Alonso in the sixth inning. Senga had to reach up while stepping on the base because of a high throw and immediately grabbed the back of his leg and collapsed to the floor.

The Philadelphia 76ers hold the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, set for later this month. While many mock drafts have them selecting Rutgers guard Ace Bailey, one notable projection from Yahoo Sports’ Kevin O’Connor suggests a trade down.
