The Liberty Belle was not the original Liberty Square Riverboat at Magic Kingdom. Another boat, the Admiral Joe Fowler, was the first to sail the Rivers of America on October 2, 1971.

It's important to note that only Magic Kingdom's version has closed. Disneyland's Pirate's Lair on Tom Sawyer Island will remain open, as will its Rivers of America and riverboat.
