As part of its widespread layoffs at U.S. health agencies, the Trump administration fired John Howard, the longtime head of the World Trade Center Health Program.

The World Center for Birds of Prey is open year-round. From March to November, it welcomes visitors Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. During the summer season it is open daily.
