FIFA looks at Guillermo Ochoa's bid at reaching a history-setting sixth FIFA World Cup, and the 39-year-old's goalkeeping rivals for places in the Mexico squad.

Goalkeeper Guillermo "Memo" Ochoa, 39, said he hopes his move to Portuguese Primeira Liga team AVS will increase his chances of being called up by Mexico for a record sixth World Cup in 2026.

Ochoa recently led Mexico to a record 9th CONCACAF Gold Cup championship and was visiting Walt Disney World with his family to celebrate his team’s victory and his 38th birthday.
