The next emoji coming to your phone include head shakes and a phoenix Emoji 15.1 has been approved by the Unicode Consortium, meaning that your devices will be getting new emoji in the future.

From happy smiling faces to cheeky aubergines, emoji now form a staple part of many of our day-to-day messages. Now, a report has revealed the 118 new characters that could launch in 2023 and 2024.

Those emoji include soon-to-be classics like the “Exploding Head,” “Crazy Face,” “Face With Monocle,” and “Sandwich” emoji, along with an oddly long list of fantasy-themed emoji.
