WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) — Brace for blistering temperatures as intense summer heat takes hold across Kansas this weekend.

Formerly called the Multi-Agency Center (or MAC), the shelter is now renamed as Second Light and will be undergoing construction throughout the remainder of 2025.
