Las Vegas opened its first urban park last month, aptly named "The Park," and it's a water-savvy, pedestrian-friendly space that could see 40 million visitors a year.
That deal fell through, and the following year the water park reopened, only to close again in 1989. It sat empty for a decade then reopened yet again in 1998, with a new team in place.
