Based on the emails we get regarding traffic and road construction in Southwest Florida, the Vanderbilt Beach Road extension project in Naples is right up there as far as being a popular topic.

WHY IS IT BEING DONE: The existing Cypress Canal along Vanderbilt Beach Road (from west of 31st Street NW to 15th Street NW) relocation further south was needed to accommodate the widened roadway.
