The building will connect to Kellogg's Global Hub building via tunnel. The new building, which is not yet named, is expected to cost $300 million, according to a spokesperson for the university.
The university also restored the stonework to prevent water damage to the building and cleaned up hazardous materials. But for the building to be used , well, that will require some more serious TLC.
Officials expect the nearly 90,000 square foot, four story building in the 300 block of Madison Avenue to be finished in August in time for the fall semester, which begins at the end of the month.
