Durban - Steers will still be the joint on the corner selling burgers but Steers Holdings management yesterday put out a proposal to rename the holding company, calling it Famous Brands instead.

Famous Brands, the parent company behind fast-food restaurants like Steers, Debonairs Pizza and Fishaways, has closed a number of outlets amid South Africa’s ongoing economic challenges.
