In a major move to expand steelmaking in the borderland, Kyoei Steel, Japan’s largest producer of rebar, announced it will invest $255 million in its subsidiary Vinton Steel.
Vinton Steel will invest $229 million in El Paso while Braven Environmental invests $145 million in Texarkana.
