Michael Varlack, a 36-year-old man from Albany, pled not guilty to murder and criminal possession of a weapon charges in connection with the fatal shooting of 23-year-old Sky Lemmons-Dixon.

The woman, who was identified as 23-year-old Sky Lemmons-Dixon, was shot around 10:30 a.m. Christmas morning and transported to Albany Medical Center, where she was in critical condition.
