The bridge carrying the Route 1 Bypass over the Piscataqua River between Maine and New Hampshire will close for two days next week.

Henniker police and the New Hampshire Department of Transportation said the road was closed from Route 114 to the Hillsborough town line. Traffic was being diverted at the split of Routes 202 and 114.
