Political slogans come and go. And sometimes they come back again. For instance, back in the 1980s, Ronald Reagan’s campaign captured hearts with the slogan “ Making America Great Again.

One of several of Ronald Reagan’s 1980 campaign slogans was “Let’s Make America Great Again,” which is similar to Republican President Donald Trump’s slogan in 2016, 2020 and 2024.

If this slogan seems familiar, it’s because it was used by Ronald Reagan in his 1980 Presidential campaign, first at the Republican National Convention and then in commercials.
