FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WNCN) — Cumberland County Sheriff Ennis W. Right announced Friday he will retire from his position.

Ennis Wright told Cumberland County commissioners that he intends to retire and resign as sheriff, effective midnight on June 30.
