MGM Springfield is reopening the ROAR! Comedy Club in August after the COVID pandemic forced it to be closed for more than a year.
MGM Springfield is partnering with Boston producer John Tobin Presents, to transform the former state Armory into the Roar! Comedy Club.
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – A new comedy club is coming to MGM Springfield! The Roar! Comedy Club is set to open inside the historic Armory at MGM Springfield in 2019.
The comedian that will be kicking off opening weekend at MGM Springfield's new comedy club is Roy Wood Jr. who is a correspondent on Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.
From comedy shows to musical performances, MGM Springfield and surrounding venues provide a world class entertainment scene that can rival larger cities like Boston.
They are home to a Comedy Club, Roar, and have hosted other special appearances such as Psychic Medium Theresa Caputo and Psychic Matt Fraser, as well.
There is also a comedy club and unique performances in the ballrooms, plus an outdoor pool, a fitness center and a spa.
